Get Involved In Building Indigitel

What

Indigitel is a telecommunications company in Canada involved in partnering with  First Nations to build a cellular phone service available to all Canadians.

Who

Founded by Eric Halstrom, Fred Leitz, and James Hinton, seasoned industry experts with experience from owning Tiny Mobile since 2020. They've enlisted the expertise of Tom  Zubko and Corey Haslett from Ice Wireless for guidance on future expansion.

Goal

To take a cell phone company with 2500 customers to 25,000 within 5 years while building the necessary tech and support structure.

How

(*ACHIEVED*) The first step is to acquire a license at the October 24th, 2023 CRTC  auction. This particular auction is unique as it allows newcomers to compete against similar companies. The CRTC has achieved this by limiting the number of licenses any single company can purchase. In other words, major players are not bidding on what we are.

The next step is to enter an acquisition period of two years with the goal of obtaining  20k customers.

Once we reach a total of 22,500 customers, we will purchase more spectrum and begin constructing towers in regions where we have spectrum rights.
